What I Learned Today: Actions, Reactions, and Consequence

A big lesson to be learned for anyone is that your actions cause reactions and consequences, often in ways that are not expected. People in a family have differing wants and desires and sometimes that leads to being in a situation that you might not normally want to be in. What I learned is that we cannot always choose the situations we want to be in, but what we can do is choose how we want to react to those situations. Sometimes it is not so easy to think coherently, but with an understanding that actions have consequences, it’s important when confronted by adversity to take a deep breath and pause a moment before letting anything come out of your mouth.
